Vibratory Sand Attrition unit
Sand Lump Attrition VSLA are in used in foundries for recycling and grating lumped up moulding sand from moulds and cores. They are available in four standard sizes. VSLB grinds the mould/ core chunks against each other and the wear plates until a flowability of the sand is reached.
During this process small metal parts embedded in the sand get collected and can be ejected through a special door. The sand is then passed through a set of mesh to ensure the necessary flow and particle size. The collected sand is then discharged through a raised outlet.
